This reminds of a Rilke poem:
Let this darkness be a bell tower and you the bell. And you ring,
what batters you becomes your strength.
That bit I put on a sticky note and stuck it on my computer screen.
I just subscribed, as I’m a 9/11 survivor (not my words but good enough) with chronic PTSD.
