Digital oligarchy must be crushed

Technology = amoral power = Shadow President Musk

I live in the United States, and I have on and off for about 30 years now. I did not grow up here, but I am a naturalized citizen. In my three plus decades of active civics participation, serving in two of the branches of the U.S. Armed Services, and working in government at various levels of mid-management, I have come to realize two important things: America is full of shit, and American politics are utterly dishonest. They are the puppets of the billionaire class.

Statistically, the human condition may be improving, but realistically, that’s a slippery slope. So what if we feed another billion people? They are all going to die from global climate change caused by human activity unless drastically change the way we self-govern. The gamut of human existence is gross, cruel, and causes massive levels of pointless suffering.

We human apes dominate this planet because of two things: our ability to cooperate in large groups, and our inventiveness. We invent useful technology and then spread it. The problem with this is that we don’t spread it equally, or even in a way that allows everyone to exist at a minimum quality of life.

The oligarchs maintain their kingdoms by sometimes fighting among themselves but more purposely through aggressive investment and acquisition strategies designed to control the technologies they control. Corporate venture capital has exploded over the past five years which provides seed stage funding for companies that eventually might challenge incumbents. A perfect oligarchic storm? You bet.

Too few have too much, and they want to keep it that way, so they have commoditized and monetized nearly every aspect of existence for the rest of us. You exist to consume without questioning why you consume. You exist to generate data for the algorithms. You are the modern equivalent of bread and circuses.

As I write this essay, incoming American President(™) Unelected Elon Musk, is the first human on the planet to be worth a half trillion dollars (it’s all made up anyway). In plain terms, that means Elon has, in our current systems of power, far too much power for a fat boy who never grew up and cannot keep track of how many children he has.

In 2002, Elon was “worth” $175 million. No human needs or should have that much power (resources) under their personal control. Two decades later, President(™) Unelected Elon Musk has nearly a half-trillion dollars under its control. That’s absolutely horrific. Little boys that never grow up shouldn’t be able to crush anyone they want with their resources.

Musk says awful things he means all the time. He tweets them out of his ass up to 500 times per week.

Elon Musk is an abomination. He is also part of the digital oligarachy that must be crushed. My theme in 2025 is Eat the Rich, and the shadow president of Murica is at the top of my enemies list.
